As an African-American woman who has a family history of heart disease and high blood pressure, I struggled with feeling out-of-shape, worried about family risk factors that could possibly affect me, and thinking that the time was now to act on getting healthy. I knew weight loss would add quality to my life, make me look and feel better, and change my whole outlook on my future.

My name is Karla McCoy and I am a personal fitness trainer. I have worked with highly-motivated, professional African American women who came with a desire and goal to change their lifestyle through my fitness and nutrition programs.
I understand that there can be a disconnect in strong desires and actions. My training as a Mindset and Transformation Life Coach has helped my clients understand the bad habits that lead to weight gain, as well as positive strategies of behavior change that lead to the desired goal of weight loss.
Over the past 5 years, I have been coaching and supporting women just like you to reconnect with their inner warrior to become active and fit.
